RETURN POLICY
Sri Ganesh jewellery Mart strives hard in ensuring the satisfaction of every customer who have purchased or ordered with it. The process of return and exchange of the product purchased online via https://sriganeshjewels.com/ is designed as simple and user-friendly as possible.
i)Terms for Return before Delivery
If a customer prefers to return the product ordered or purchased before delivery for some valid reason, Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart provides them with an option to do so and this shall be considered as ’Cancellation before Delivery’. Check cancellation terms section.
ii)Terms for Return on defects
Customer may return the delivered product if found to be defective upon arrival at customer location. Customer shall exercise this privilege only for genuine faults and SGJM hopes the facility is not misused. You are permitted to return jewels housing genuine wears, manufacturing defects, missing stones, cracks on the stones provided the jewel is unused. In such a case it has to be reported to Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart.com as ’Defective upon delivery’, on the date of delivery itself. Return of jewellery is also reasonable and acceptable in cases where the jewel delivered to you is different from what was ordered if it remains unused. Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart reserves every right in determining if the product delivered can be considered as ’Defective upon delivery’.
If the customer tampered the jewel deliberately with or without the intention of usurping financial benefits, legal action will be taken under all applicable laws for cheating, theft, forgery etc., for the damage or defamation caused to the company. In such an event, Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart apart from initiating legal actions against such customer shall also penalize by not refunding the amount paid towards the purchase of jewel. Users, beware of the fact that SGJM maintains every record- visual, factual as well as legal information about the product that is shipped. Care should be taken while returning through courier. The product should be returned in same condition as delivered by Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart.
iii)Terms for Return on Dissatisfaction - Limited Duration
In case, the customer is not satisfied with the product after receiving they can return the product within 15 days from the delivered date. Return policy is subject to the following conditions:
a) The product should be returned in the same condition as delivered by Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart.
b) Product showing sign of wear or engraved, altered, resized or damaged may not be accepted and may be returned to the customer itself.
c) Products that are designed based on Customer’s specification or customized jewels or Gold coins can be exchanged only at the showrooms of SGJM binding by the terms stated under ’Lifetime Exchange’.
d) Once the return is confirmed at the call center, Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart will send a packaging cover through the courier agent, which has to be used to return the product. ’Jewel to be returned’ must be properly packed as per the associated logistics company’s requirement.
e) The item has to be packed in front of the courier agent.
f) Product invoice provided by Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart must be sent along with the ’Jewel to be returned’ while returning. Else return process shall be void.
g) It is presumed that users are aware about Jewellery and the right way of handling them before purchase and Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart shall not take responsibility for any wear or damage caused by inappropriate handling or improper placement. Return or refund or exchange of such products of such a case shall not be entertained by SGJM.
h) Once Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart receives the jewel genuinely as stated above, the refund of the payment shall be promptly initiated within 15 days without deduction of shipping, processing fee and bank transaction charges through internet banking or cheque to the bank account that was used for the purchase.
Domestic Order:
In case of domestic order (where the product is shipped within India) 100% refund will be made.
In case the customer pays online then the amount will be refunded within 7-15
working days from the receipt of the returned product(s) at our warehouse.
In case of COD (Cash on delivery i.e. when customer pays in cash once the product is received) the amount can be refunded either through cheque or online transfer as NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer). The mode of refund depends on the customer's choice:
1. If customer provides a cancelled cheque with the returned product then the refund can be made within 7-15 working days & amount will be refunded directly into customer's account through online transfer as NEFT.
2. If customer doesn't provide any cancelled cheque then amount will be refunded through cheque that will be sent by courier at the address provided by customer at time of registering/placing the order. It may take up to 30 working days.
International Order:
For international orders, currently we do not provide for refund policy. Although, Titan will refund the amount to the customer only under following two circumstances and at the sole discretion of Titan:
1. We will accept the return of only defective product and then subsequently provide for the refund. However, the refund process will be initiated only post inspection and after we get a go ahead from our QA (quality assurance) team. While refunding for the defective product, we will not charge you for shipment (to and fro).
2. We will refund under those circumstances where our logistic partner has been unable to deliver the product, even after repeated efforts due to the customer's unavailability. Although while making the refund, we will deduct from the amount paid all the costs incurred by us like shipment expenses both to and fro, customs paid and any other charges.
SHIPPING POLICY
The management of Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart is happy to provide secured shipping to the customers for the purchased orders within the geographical boundary of India. The operations team and their associates strive in ensuring the delivery is made accurately in perfect condition and on time. At present the delivery is available in selected towns/cities. However, on demand of customer, with an additional shipping charge, shipment can be made for other cities or interior part of some cities. For some parts of the city, customer may have to visit the courier office to collect the shipments. Do confirm it with Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart.com. The user must provide the full name (as provided in proof), full address in detail, contact number of the recipient (user). The proof of recipient is verified with government approved identity proof.
Delivery Schedule
Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart aims to deliver the shipments in 7 to 21 working days, subject to the availability (Refer ’Product Availability’ section) of the products in the showrooms or at warehouse or in the factory. There may be some delay which may take more than 7 to 21 working days to procure or to design. In such case, the customer will be promptly communicated and made aware of the situation. Delivery guarantee is subject to the terms and conditions of the shipping agent or the courier company. Any inaccuracy in the name or address or inconsistency of the recipient’s presence during delivery shall result in non delivery of the product. Estimated duration for delivery indicated in Terms and Conditions commence from the date of dispatch and are for guidance purpose only and may vary invariably. The order will be processed to shipping only after the credit/debit card number given/provided is approved by the bank.
Shipment Procedure
The shipment shall be delivered only to the specified delivery address confirmed by the user. Customers have the option of changing the delivery address any number of times before the order is processed for shipment. Once the shipment is processed, neither the specified receiver of the delivery nor the specified address for delivery shall be changed. Any number of products ordered for a single delivery address will be bundled together and shipped as single shipment.
In case of shipping the ’gifts’, the beneficiary must produce their proof of identification recognized as identification proof by the Government of India. Signature of the recipient is considered as acknowledgment and for verification.
The support team of Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart may contact you to confirm your address, availability etc before shipping the product. The shipment can be tracked by the customer by checking with the courier agent. We are not responsible for any delays caused by courier agencies and/or due to time required for statutory clearances during the delivery process.
Force Majeure
Any delay or failure in the delivery hereunder shall be excused and Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart is not responsible if and to the extent caused by the occurrence of a Force Majeure. For purposes of this Agreement, Force Majeure shall mean a cause or event that is not reasonably foreseeable or otherwise caused by or under the control of the Parties (includes Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart.com and courier company) claiming Force Majeure, including miraculous acts of God, natural disasters or emergencies like fires, floods, explosions, riots, wars, hurricane, sabotage terrorism, vandalism, accident, restraint of government, governmental acts or parliamentary restrictions, prohibitions, any enactments on import or export regulation or regulations on exchanges foreign as well as domestic, injunctions, or unavailability to transit, labour strikes, other than those of Seller, the Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart Jewellery or its Courier agent, that prevent us from delivering the materials and other like events that are beyond the reasonable anticipation and control of the company affected thereby, despite such company’s reasonable efforts to prevent, avoid, delay, or mitigate the effect of such acts, events or occurrences, and which events or the effects thereof are not attributable to a failure to deliver its obligations under this Agreement.
Return Shipments
If you suspect that the shipment delivered to you to be ’not in good condition’ or ’attempted for tampering’ or if the package of shipment is tampered, you shall refuse to acknowledge the receipt and return the same before accepting the shipped package.
In case, the authorized recipient is unavailable to receive and acknowledge the package, the courier agent may try to deliver twice after the first delivery as per their policy. If the recipient didn’t receive in all the three attempts, the package will be shipped back to the office of Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart and all the cost incurred through the shipment shall be borne by the customer along with the handling charges. The customer shall also bear the shipping charges when shipped again. Refer ’Cancellation Terms’ section if in case the customer cancels after the failed delivery.
Packaging
Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart Jewellery takes special care in packaging user’s precious purchase. The jewels purchased are secured in a shockproof metal box, layered with durable and tamper proof seal from SGJM. Every packing is video covered for security reason. If user requests for special gift pack, Sri Ganesh Jewellery Mart.com will gift wrap it along with the words you wish your recipient to receive.

For International Transactions, The order cannot be cancelled. Incase the customer wants to cancel, they need to bear the cancellation charges and the other payment gateway and conversion charges.
Return policy is not applicable for orders shipped to outside India. If the customer insists on the order to be refunded, the shipping charges, the re-import charges and the customs clearance charges will be borne by the customer. The order cannot be cancelled under any circumstance once the product is given to the logistics company. Also, the value of the jewels will be valued as per the day of import or the order whichever is less. For all International orders, Sri Ganesh is liable till the products are cleared in Customs and the jewels are handed out to the logistics company in India.

If you have provided us with your email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and confirm dispatch and therefore, acceptance of the order thereafter. We have made every effort to display the colors and sizes of our products that appear on our website as accurately as possible. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor. We cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will accurately reflect the color of the product on delivery. Packaging of the product may vary from that displayed on the website.
Legal Disclaimer
All updated jewel displaying size whether gold, silver or diamonds are only approximate. Items may have been enlarged, zooming option is enabled to show the coherence of the product. Please note that when viewing high quality diamonds or colored gemstones on your monitor there are certain limitations. Most monitors display images at different dots per inch (dpi) and are not color corrected. In other words, all monitors are not the same, and we cannot guarantee that what we see is exactly the same on your screen.
